Frequently Asked Questions
We've put together some of
your most asked questions about the Pump Weekend. If you have additional ones
please let us know.
-
Is Canyon Club Hotel open to non-Pumpers during the Pump
Weekend?
YES. There may be non-Pumpers in the other rooms and non-Pumpers
coming in on Day Passes.
We encourage non-Pumpers and guys who are
interested in finding out what pumping is all about to join us. This is a
wonderful time to get educated and, if you are willing, to try a little
pumping or saline infusion.
As in the past, I am sure there will be more than one Pumper
who would not mind being "worshiped" after pumping, or after a little saline. The one
thing I can guarantee you is that there will be a lot of "weight" to play
with. But, the play is up to each individual.
If you wish to participate in any of the
Events,
please register on the
Registration Page
and pay your Registration Fee. You may enter a Profile,
Pictures, and tell a little about yourself (like what you like to do). It's a
great way to make contact with other guys before the weekend and to find a
roommate.
- Is the Canyon Club Hotel Resort clothing optional?
Yes, the entire resort is clothing optional except for the lobby.
- Is pumping allowed throughout the resort?
YES, Pumping is permitted throughout Canyon Club Hotel, including the pool
and Jacuzzi.
- How much intimacy is allowed around the pool area on the grounds
at Canyon Club Hotel?
There is usually no lack of "intimacy" at Canyon Club Hotel.
- Can I bring alcohol on the premises?
Yes, alcohol is welcome to be brought into the resort. However, no glass is
allowed pool side.
- What about party drugs?
Drug use is strictly prohibited while at the resort. Users will be asked to
leave the premises immediately.
- I want to bring my laptop. Are there internet connections in the
rooms?
WiFi is available throughout Canyon Club Hotel and in the rooms. There is also
a desk top computer in the lounge available for your use.
Local dial phone service from the rooms is complimentary and there are two
jacks in each room which can be used for phone and Internet dial-up service.
- I am planning to fly. What is the most convenient airport?
Palm Springs is not a "transportation hub."
- The Palm Springs airport, PSP, is the closest, approximately 3.6
miles, an eight minute drive to Canyon Club Hotel. However to fly into
Palm Springs will probably require at least one change of airplanes.
Directions from PSP to Canyon Club Hotel
- The Ontario, CA airport, ONT, is
approximately 68 miles from Canyon Club Hotel and an hour and ten minute drive. One can usually find a
cheaper flight into the Ontario, CA airport and you may be able to get a
direct flight.
Directions from ONT to Canyon Club Hotel
- Of course, you could always fly into Los Angeles,
LAX. It is approximately 120 miles, a two hour drive (depending on traffic).
Directions from LAX to Canyon Club Hotel
- Can I ship some items for the Weekend rather than bring everything with me?
Yes, you may ship items directly to Canyon Club Hotel and they will hold
them there until your arrival. Make sure you check with your carrier on how
long it will take. The shipping address is:
Your name - Arrival Date: month/day/year
c/o Canyon Club Hotel
960 N Palm Canyon Dr
Palm Springs, CA 92262
- Will I need a car?
If you are flying into Los Angeles or Ontario you will probably want to
rent a car. Often it is cheaper to fly into LAX or ONT and rent a car than it
is to fly into PSP.
You are welcome to bring or rent a car. There is parking behind Canyon Club Hotel
or on the side street. A local convenience store and several restaurants are nearby.
In most cases, even if you don't have wheels, someone else is going there.
- I live in the area or will be staying with friends. Can I still
attend without booking a room at Canyon Club Hotel?
If you do not stay at Canyon Club Hotel you can obtain a Pass for
entry to the resort. A towel, locker
and lock are available
for an additional fee. All Passes have In/Out privileges - just show your pass when you
return to gain re-entry to the resort.
- I'm a newbie Pumper. It looks like most of the guys attending are
more experienced. Can I still come?
Absolutely,
Pumpers at all levels are welcome to attend. This is perfect time to share
experiences and gain knowledge. There are seminars on Saturday and we usually
start with one on pumping. This is a great time for the "old timers" to share
their experiences with the "newbies" and the "newbies" to get their questions
answered.
- I'm new at this and don't have any tubes yet.
Some of the more experienced Pumpers bring extra tubes.
If you don't have one or would like to try a different size or style then it's
possible to borrow one from a fellow Pumper.
- What will the weather be like for Pump Weekend? How
hot will it be?

Forecast and the
Daily Averages for May or the
Daily Averages for September.
- Are there any tips for pumping in the
desert?
Drink plenty of water while pumping. It's best
to keep hydrated at all times, especially in the desert heat. You may not
notice that you are dehydrating because of the low humidity and the lack of
sweating. The rule of thumb when you are outside is: ONE large glass of water
per hour. (Soda, beer, liquor, etc. DON'T COUNT.) And remember the saying: "If
you are thirsty, it's too late."
- I am planning to arrive early or stay a few days later. What is
there to do?
Plenty. Should you want to do something besides
hang out around the pool at one of our favorite clothing optional resorts or
show off your "pumped assets" at the bars, you have a choice of golf,
gambling, hiking in the mountains or desert, museums, the Thursday night
street festival, or take in one of your favorite shows. You name it! Oh, I
forgot to mention, how about a photo shoot along the San Andreas Fault, or
with a desert, mountain or tropical oasis background?
